Collecting art should be FUN! You don’t have to be rich to start an art collection. Honestly, you don’t even have to know a lot about art to purchase a piece. If you connect with it, invest in it! Most importantly, invest in living artists. Perhaps you feel that collecting art is something only for a specific group of people. I am here to assure you that this is not the case! Erase that ideology from your mind. I started collecting work in college, simply by trading work with other art students! 

Anyone who has ever purchased artwork is an Art Collector. The price or size does not matter. It’s an original piece of art, created by a passionate human! Perhaps you feel you don’t have enough space to hang more artwork in your home or office. In that case, look for small work shows or artists that specialize in minis and smaller pieces. Many small works are affordable and more accessible. The art world is endless. There will always be something to tickle your fancy.
